What Does a Life Coach Do?

Working with a life coach can help identify your skills to create positive, transformational changes within your life while overcoming obstacles that may stand in your way.  Essentially, a life coach enables you to become the best version of yourself through guidance and self-discovery! As long as you want to work towards your life goals, and even if you are not sure what they are, a life coach can help. Initially by supporting you to clarify your aims then by co-creating with you a personal road map for these changes to happen.

A life coach will help you to:

1) Identify the blocks to your personal growth, healing, or transformation.

2) Discover and access the wealth of your inner resources. 

3) Apply various change tools and techniques to achieve your desired goals.

4) Get out of your comfort zone and achieve more than you ever thought was possible!

Working with me as a life coach is not a quick fix or an instant solution, but a process we will work through together with a tailor-made approach, improving your self-awareness and self-confidence along the way.

Is life coaching for me?

You didn’t come this far, to only come this far and stop.

If you need a new outlook, or even just a new perspective on the potential you already possess, a life coach can help guide you in the right direction; all you need is an idea of where you’re heading. This idea can simply involve creating a better work/life balance to make your life work around you. 

Life coaching isn’t just about changing the things around you, but taking control of your life by changing your approach and mindset. It is often about changing how you do and see things and not necessarily what you do. So if you want to work with me, get ready to ask questions and explore your spiritual, emotional, mental, and soul capabilities!

Is life coaching the same as therapy?

While life coaching and therapy are personal self-growth journeys, they come from different approaches. Although both work in a safe, therapeutic-style environment, life coach is not “treating” or “healing” an issue from your past. 

As a life coach, I will help you embrace the future ahead of you, and provide you with the mindset and skills to create the best version of your future possible. I will inspire you in your personal and spiritual transformation, empowering you to be more proactive in creating change in yourself, rather than “treating” you. 

We will work together towards a specific goal, taking steps to help you get there. While there might be issues to overcome, I will provide you with the tools and skills to climb these easily or even prevent obstacles from occurring. 

Life coaching I offer is a fully holistic approach, focussing on your physical wellbeing as well as psychological and spiritual growth. We will identify potential changes to make together, instead of me treating your mental health or trauma. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, body, mind, and spirit. My approach will empower you because it promotes practical tools for self-healing. It helps you understand how your beliefs, lifestyle, and even food choices directly affect your mood (as well as your confidence to create the life you want).

Spirit

Our bodies, minds, and emotions are shaped by our environment, upbringing, education, culture, ancestral history, and the collective unconscious. 

Spirit is what makes you, you. It’s your unique characteristic; it encompasses all that you are, and everything you bring to everything you do. 

This is also about how you see the world, so we will work together to create a bright and positive mindset for your future. We will work together to connect you to and release your true spirit. Remember, you already have everything you need to be your true self. Life coaching is simply that guiding hand pointing you in the right direction.

We will work together to identify where you’re heading, and through exercises and gentle pragmatic questioning, we will determine how you see the world, your strengths and weaknesses, as well as the way you work best. Then, bringing together all of these qualities, and building on others, will keep you on track to achieve your goals in a personalised, effective way.
